One Tree Hill

Easy to moderate walk up.
About 1 hour to hike up from Hall starting point (Corner of Hall St and Hoskins St) or 2 hours less up and back. It’s also an easy trail to mountain bike with a moderate or steep incline at the end. It’s a 4km run up, 8km back gives a good little workout to the legs near the end.
You can see Gungahlin and a bit of Belconnen too. Also a view of the new suburb Taylor. It’s quite possible to start in Taylor instead of Hall to cut short the time.
Consider bringing water, a picnic or snack, a jacket if there’s a breeze, sunglasses and there’s no toilets along the way.
